This poster was created based on the song “Disco Inferno” by Tina Turner, released in 1993 in her album “What’s Love Got to Do with It.” Tina Turner and others have done a cover of the song “Disco Inferno,” initially sung by The Trammps in 1976. She is the first black artist and the first woman to be on the cover of Rolling Stone. Tina Turner embraced her identity as a black woman and defied societal norms, paving the way for both female and black artists.
